Tours & Trips

The second of our organized team trips for 2023 and will be the 21st year we have travelled to Canberra to compete in this team’s event. The tournament features juniors from several areas including Bowral, Melbourne and Wollongong, each representing their region and club in this exciting and unique format. Players of all standards are welcome to take part as all teams will be graded using the UTR rating system. If you don’t have an UTR then your coach will allocate one for you.

Each team will play each other once over the three days, with the winning team to receive the Teams Challenge Shield.

The tournament will be played at the Weston Creek Tennis Club, WESTON ACT 2611.

TRIP INFORMATION

Transport: will be by mini bus and departing from Beaton Park Tennis Club on Friday 29th September.  We will return on the evening of Sunday 1st October – players will be asked to ring parents when leaving Canberra on the 1st to confirm arrival at Wollongong.

Accommodation: will be at the Ibis Motel, Watson ACT, for 2 nights. Linen, pillows & blankets provided.

Meals: breakfasts provided at the motel and lunches will be provided by the host tennis centre.

What to Pack: 3 sets of tennis clothes (so you don’t have to wash), 2 sets casual clothes, hat, sunscreen, toiletries, WARM CLOTHES as it often gets COLD in Canberra this time of year., racquets, money for Dinners and snacks.

Inclusions: Transport, Accomodation, Entry Fees, Breakfasts, Lunch and supervision by qualified TCA coaches.
